When traveling, regular stops are recommended to ensure the following:

– The coupler is secure to the hitch and locked down

– Electrical connections and lights are working

– Safety chains are connected and have proper slack

– There is appropriate slack in the breakaway switch cable

– Tires are properly inflated and no excessive wear

– Load is sure and straps checked
